RGV Offroad Request a fitment check

Terms of service

These terms set out the basis on which RGV Offroad provides this website and its towing, recovery and upfit work. Please read them before you use the site or engage us for a job.

Using this website

The site is offered for information, so that a driver or a fleet can understand what a job involves and roughly what it costs. We work to keep the writing accurate, but hardware, ratings and availability change, and a general page cannot know your exact truck or load. Where a page and a written estimate disagree, the estimate governs the work.

Estimates and orders

A quote is a written range, not a final price, until the truck and the application are confirmed. Nothing is ordered, drilled, cut or wired until you approve an estimate. If an inspection reveals something that changes the figure, such as frame condition or existing wiring, we stop and re-quote rather than proceed on the old number.

  • Quotes are ranges until the truck is confirmed
  • No work begins before you approve the estimate
  • A changed figure is re-quoted, not assumed

Workmanship and hardware

Our workmanship is warranted, and hardware we supply carries whatever manufacturer coverage it comes with, which we pass through to you. A warranty does not cover damage from an overloaded trailer, a misuse of a winch or a modification made elsewhere. To make a claim, bring the vehicle back so we can inspect the work in person before deciding anything.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for telling us the true weight and use of the load, and for staying inside the ratings once the hardware is fitted. Towing over a truck's rated capacity is unsafe no matter who installed the hitch. You also agree to keep any warranty-related hardware unmodified, because changing it elsewhere can void the coverage on our work.

Limits and governing terms

The site and its content are provided as they are, without a promise that every figure or detail fits your exact application. To the extent the law allows, our liability for the website is limited, while our liability for the work we perform is handled under the estimate and the warranty rather than these pages. These terms are governed by the law of the State of Texas.
