Privacy notice

RGV Offroad keeps a short list of habits with your details: gather only what the job needs, hold it no longer than it serves a purpose and never sell it on.

What crosses this site

This site sees two kinds of information. The first is what you type yourself, such as a form message with your name, how to reach you and the vehicle or fleet you are asking about. The second is routine technical detail that any web server logs to keep things working and secure, such as pages viewed and the general kind of device used.

  • The details you enter in a form
  • The message and vehicle information you send
  • Routine technical and usage information
  • Your language choice between English and Spanish

Why we hold it

A message you send is used to answer you, to prepare an estimate or to shape a future guide around the question. We do not build a marketing profile from it, and we do not hand it to advertisers or data brokers. Once the reason for keeping a message has passed, we remove it on a sensible schedule rather than hoard it just because storage is cheap.

Sharing and selling

We do not sell customer information, full stop, and we do not share it with anyone whose only interest is to sell you something. Where a service provider helps us run the site, it sees only what it needs for that job and is expected to protect it. There is no list of Valley drivers for sale, because we would not want to be on one either.

Your choices

You may ask what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to erase it, and we will act on that where the law allows. To make that request, describe what you want in a note through the contact form. Before we change or erase anything we may need to confirm your identity, which guards you as much as it guards us.

  • Ask what we hold
  • Ask for a correction
  • Ask for deletion where the law allows

Keeping this notice current

If the way we handle details changes, this page changes with it, and the version you are reading governs the visit. We would rather tell you plainly that something shifted than bury a change in fine print, because trust about a hitch rating and trust about your data come from the same habit of being straight. Revisit this notice whenever you want to confirm the current practice.
