About RGV Offroad

RGV Offroad is an independent towing, recovery and commercial-upfit outfit built around Rio Grande Valley trucks.

At a glance

  • Hitches confirmed by class and application
  • Winch and recovery hardware fitted and wired
  • Fleet and work-truck upfit in the bay

How the work gets done here

A job runs the same way whether it is one receiver hitch or a fleet of service bodies. We read the truck, the trailer and the load, confirm the rating and the mount the application calls for, and quote before anything is ordered. You approve a written estimate that separates the hardware, the mount and the labour, and nothing is cut, drilled or wired until that estimate is signed off.

  • Read the truck and the load first
  • Confirm the rating before quoting
  • Fit, wire and torque, then check the work

Who we build for

Valley trucks work for a living. Contractors haul skid steers down the expressway, farms pull gooseneck trailers across caliche lanes, recovery crews run winches in the brush, and small businesses put service bodies on a fleet that never stops. Each of those asks something different of a hitch, a winch or a body, and knowing which demand applies is most of choosing the hardware.

  • Contractors and trades
  • Farms, ranches and acreage
  • Recovery and towing crews
  • Small-business and municipal fleets

Why a specialist instead of a big box

A shop that lives on repeat work has a reason to fit the part that suits your application rather than the one that clears a shelf fastest. We are not a national chain and we are not a catalog with a counter attached. We explain what a job needs, show the mount point when you want to see it, and tell you plainly when a lighter, cheaper rating would do the same job for your trailer.

Where we work

Our bays serve the Rio Grande Valley from the mid-Valley outward, with the expressway linking Brownsville, Harlingen, San Benito, Weslaco, McAllen, Mission and Edinburg and the farm roads stitching the towns between them. If your truck or fleet cannot come to us easily, say so and we will work out the best way to get it in, whether that is a scheduled visit or a conversation about what the truck needs first.

Getting started

Send a short description of the truck and the job through the form on this site. Include the year, make, model and the load you intend to move, along with what you want fitted. We reply with a range or a suggested appointment, and you do not need to know the answer already, because working that out against your application is exactly the job.
